Although The Phoenix Center (TPC) receives tuition from the public school districts that place students here, it is not enough to cover the rising costs of special education. Therefore, we rely on the generosity of corporations, local businesses, foundations and private individuals to supplement programs and services for our students with disabilities and their families, as well as capital improvements for which tuition may not be applied.
There are many ways for you to donate to TPC . There are many different ways of supporting us. There is a one-time donation, a recurring donation (monthly, quarterly or annually) or the opportunity to create a significant legacy by putting The Phoenix Center in your will and/or follow a planned giving strategy. A planned gift is pledged now and gifted at a later date. There are a variety of ways to make a planned gift at no cost to you and some can give you income now while benefiting TPC today from your intentional philanthropy.
You can also leverage various donor advised funds (see the drop down to the right on this page), which is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite charities.
We are always available to talk with you about what way works best for you. Please feel free to contact Carolyn Sharaway with any questions at all!
It is always helpful for TPC to be introduced to decision makers at corporations and foundations who value our commitment and dedication to serving students with disabilities. If you are in a position to make such an introduction, or would like to discuss planned giving options, or donor advised fund options, please contact Carolyn Sharaway by telephone at (973) 542-0743 or click here.
