The Phoenix Center brought alumni, families, and staff together for a special Alumni Family Restaurant Night Out at Mr. Bruno’s Pizzeria in Lyndhurst. More than just a dinner, the evening was a meaningful opportunity for graduates to practice real-world social and communication skills in a supportive community setting.
Events like this are part of The Phoenix Center’s Graduate Support Program, which helps young adults and their families navigate the transition to adult life while maintaining lasting connections beyond the classroom. Families also had the chance to connect with one another, strengthening networks of support that continue long after graduation.
“Seeing our alumni thrive in the community is the ultimate reward,” shared Kim Wynbeek, Director of Related Services. “These nights are full of smiles, memories, and the true spirit of The Phoenix Center!”
Programs like these highlight the importance of ongoing post-graduation engagement—supporting confidence, independence, and lifelong success.
